Lecturers Lack Professionalism
Well I've been in this college for quite awhile and disagree with students when they say lecturers sucks. But now I'm starting to think the other way around because I'm experiencing it now. A lecturer's job description is primarily to educate the students of the college. Besides that, they're suppose toHELP and GUIDE students WHENEVER NEEDED (at least that is what the marketing department says for ALL colleges) with passion & joy. The last thing a student need from a lecturer is a lecturer with a weird attitude where there couldn't care less about their students or avoiding them.
All colleges has one or few lecturers like that because their fed up with the students. This is where the question come...which comes first: the chicken or the egg? Who is to be blame first here? Is it because of the unprofessional lecturer that causes disrespect or the students misbehave causes anger in the lecturer's heart?
Whatever it is, what the problems are...the lecturer should maintain their professionalism not towards the students but to thier job (cause they get paid for it!). As an educator for the future leaders, the lecturers themselves should be a role model...not a bad example because we learn in college and we learn everything from the enviroment within the four walls of the college.
This would be a great debate if this issue is really brought up. It is not so far because Malaysian hardly know their own rights in life. This is where both party critique one another (a very unhealthy way of life)

Dear blogger,
Hope your comment does not reflect about all the lecturers in your college.
If it DOES reflect all the lecturers, then there really is a big ISSUE of professionalism.
