How Narrow is the WORLD?!

Conflict
Dilemma
Issue

That's what I learn in Moral Education recently with Uncle LAN.

But the story here is about the current war between Israel and Palestine where Palestine is holding TWO Israel soldiers.

Israel threaten Palestine to a war if they do not free their soldiers but Palestine dared them back to start a war. Hence, the bombing on Palestine has started recently just because...of TWO soldiers.

To me, it's clearly a political issue although this two country have been fighting since I was drinking my mom's milk. This current issue has nothing got to do with religion...it's not that they've burn a mosque or church...the issue here is the TWO soldiers that cause the war.

So why the world is looking at it as if it's religious or other bullcrap? People who think like that are stupid uneducated hot air!!!

By the way, lets pray that the UN peace workers gets to carry out their duty safely. Not to forget the war victims who have lost so much...pray that heal fast without trauma.

STOP WAR!!!

Educator Vs "Customer"

"MORON"...That was what the student said to the lecturer after being lectured about his consistency of being late to class. But this guy was not an uncivilized ape but a Chinese DUMB BLOND!!!

Why would anyone fight a losing battle? It proves he's stupid like an empty can. He was rather vulgar with the lecturer (as the lecturer has her own demon in her) but the lecturer kept her cool and handled it pretty well. But there was another student who got fed up of it & went in front to confront the DUMB BLOND but he rather embarrassed himself.

He did try to help the lecturer out but the lecturer didn't said anything to him after class. Maybe she was just disappointed with the class' performance. But we were reading about courtesy, that student did his share but the lecturer couldn't care less.

So, what's the problem here? Is it the student's problem or the lecturers?
I feel that the student is to be blame this time because he didn't want to admit he's wrong but tried to fight as though he's right.

With that issue that bothers the class, the teaching was rather downslope till a student started complaining on her saying

"why is she such a bitch?"
"she sucks..."

O well, students of this college is....moderate I can say but if the college is going to continue to target chinese educated students (which can be said is their target market), more DUMB BLONDS will be in this college. This can cause the market for this college to go down if it's filled with chinese educated people.

For all I know, I don't want this college to be the next TAR college.

Lecturers Lack Professionalism

Well I've been in this college for quite awhile and disagree with students when they say lecturers sucks. But now I'm starting to think the other way around because I'm experiencing it now. A lecturer's job description is primarily to educate the students of the college. Besides that, they're suppose toHELP and GUIDE students WHENEVER NEEDED (at least that is what the marketing department says for ALL colleges) with passion & joy. The last thing a student need from a lecturer is a lecturer with a weird attitude where there couldn't care less about their students or avoiding them.

All colleges has one or few lecturers like that because their fed up with the students. This is where the question come...which comes first: the chicken or the egg? Who is to be blame first here? Is it because of the unprofessional lecturer that causes disrespect or the students misbehave causes anger in the lecturer's heart?

Whatever it is, what the problems are...the lecturer should maintain their professionalism not towards the students but to thier job (cause they get paid for it!). As an educator for the future leaders, the lecturers themselves should be a role model...not a bad example because we learn in college and we learn everything from the enviroment within the four walls of the college.

This would be a great debate if this issue is really brought up. It is not so far because Malaysian hardly know their own rights in life. This is where both party critique one another (a very unhealthy way of life)

SEGi Community Day 2006

It's held on a beautiful Saturday where the weather was good. Many people around for futsal competition & games. There were many booth also that involves the clubs & societies so that they can earn some money for their own club. The whole day was great as people enjoy the games.

But for some people, the day started of like a hassle because they had coupon to sell (coupons equals money!). So some students had a headache. For me, the marketing department is hugely to be blame for this problem. How can you distributed hundreds of coupons to students & staffs and expect them to sell within 4 days? It's shows that the department lack the efficiency. But luckily some students pull of a great effort to get rid of the coupons. Even some lecturers ask their own students to sell which I fell it's wrong because they're running from their own responsibility. Even the student that was ask to sell the coupon felt threaten if they don't get to sell any.

But the Community day itself was good, I saw that alot of sales from all booth...which is something to be proud of for everyone who is involved on that day. But there's alot of lessons to be learnt from for both students & staffs.
